Blackfeet Coins

When Lewis and Clark traveled through uncharted country and encountered the Plains Indians during their expedition, they provided many native Tribes with a symbol of fellowship in the form of a trade medallion.
Now, 200 years later, the Blackfeet Nation in Montana would like to continue this tradition and commemorate the Lewis & Clark Corp of Discovery by offering a collection of precious coins and a medallion.  These symbols recount the Lewis & Clark Expedition's encounter with the Blackfeet and share in the heritage of the great Blackfeet Nation.
